Entries must relate to work carried out between January 2023 and June 2024 – judging will be focused on this timeframe.

Video & Podcasting
This is for video and/or audio content that has delivered a campaign objective or outcome.

Agency Campaign
This is for communications agencies to showcase campaigns that have delivered against budget, as well as engagement and behaviour change.

Marketing & Design
This is for marketing, multimedia and/or graphic design that is delivered as part of a campaign.

Community & Stakeholder Relations
This is for those organisations who have undertaken community and/or stakeholder relations relating to a project, cause or behaviour change for example.

Public Sector Campaign
This is for public sector teams to celebrate an effective campaign that has delivered on areas such as engagement, behaviour change.

Internal Communications
This category recognises the work being delivered by internal communications, employee relations teams.

Rising Star
This award recognises an individual that has joined our industry in the last two years. They will be making valuable contributions to their organisation and our industry.

Best In-House Team
This category is open to any Wales based in-house private, not-for-profit or public sector communications team. The award will look at how the team operates within the wider organisation.

Behaviour Change Campaign
This will be a campaign that is driven by behavioural science techniques and will demonstrate clear attitudinal shift and/or behaviour change.

Low Budget Campaign
This category recognises a successful campaign that has been delivered on a budget of less than £15,000 (including agency fees and staff time where appropriate).

Best Small Agency
This category is open to any Wales based consultancy, whether multi-discipline or niche, with a PR fee income of up to £2 million.

Independent PR Practitioner
Freelancer. Consultant. Independent practitioner. Whatever you call yourself, this award is for you as it recognises the contribution that individuals make to our profession and have produced clear results for their clients over the last 12 months*.

Health & Wellbeing Campaign
This campaign will support a physical, mental, or wellbeing healthcare issue, produce, service or initiative for humans or animals will be considered in this category.

Travel, Tourism & Hospitality
This category recognises a campaign for any company operating in the travel, tourism or hospitality sectors, or a campaign which promotes travel, tourism or hospitality services, products, or initiatives in any sector.

Best Large Agency
This category is open to any Wales based consultancy, whether multi-discipline or niche, with a PR fee income of over £2 million.

Climate Action Campaign
This will be a campaign that is looking to raise awareness and prompt action. The campaign will have made a difference by positively supporting protecting the environment,
fighting climate change, and/or, promoting sustainability.

Culture & Organisational Development
This category is an opportunity to showcase how communications has played an integral role within a transformational, culture change and/or organisational development programme.

Business & Corporate Communications
This category recognises a campaign that is focused on delivering against an organisation’s business objectives.

STEAM Campaign
This category recognises a campaign for any company in the science, technology, engineering, arts or mathematic sectors, or is promoting a STEAM service, product or initiative in any sector
* To qualify, you can’t be on a company’s payroll (other than your own) and you can’t have other PR professionals on your payroll either. You might work with a team of associates, but as long as you don’t employ them, you’ll qualify for this category.
